The product featured in this post was kindly gifted to me by MOFT!

While most iPad cases only offer one or two viewing modes, The MOFT Dynamic Folio absolutely blows them all out of the water! It’s unique origami design is extremely versatile, easy-to-use, and is perfect for artists, content creators, entrepreneurs, readers, and fans of the iPad in general!

As a reader and big fan of digital book journaling, I was thrilled when MOFT offered to send me one to try out! I chose the Beach White x Terracotta color way, because it matches so much of the rest of my office. I was blown away by the high-quality materials and just how gorgeous this case is!

I’ve purchased a lot of cheap cases on Amazon, and while I still enjoy them, this is by far the best case I’ve ever used. Let’s get into the details, and how you can use the Dynamic Folio in your everyday life!

Just look how perfectly it matches my August wallpaper!

What Makes the MOFT Dynamic Folio Different?

By far the biggest pro of this iPad case is its versatility and ergonomics. It offers various views for both productivity and casual iPad usage like gaming, watching Netflix, etc. This is by far it’s most unique feature. Not only does it feature 20+ configurations, but snapping them into place is both easy and extremly satisfying.

No matter what you’re using your iPad for, this case has you covered.

Landscape Mode

  • watching videos on YouTube
  • streaming your favorite shows
  • reading recipes in the kitchen

Writing Mode

  • taking notes in apps like goodnotes
  • jotting down ideas
  • book journaling, memory keeping, etc.

Elevated Mode

  • secondary monitor option
  • video calls and meetings
  • use with an external keyboard

Drawing Mode

  • Apple pencil compatible
  • good ergonomics
  • easy viewing

Portrait Mode

  • reading ebooks
  • FaceTiming
  • referencing documents for work

Who is the MOFT Dynamic Folio For?

As a digital creator, book journaler, reader, and freelancer, this is a great option for me. However, there’s lots of people who’d benefit from trying it out and adding it into their everyday tech bag.

Students

Perfect for college students who prefer to take notes digitally, organize their classes, make video calls, and more.

Artists

The drawing and writing modes are especially ergonomic and designed for artists to reduce eye and neck strain.

Readers

The dedicated reading mode is a perfect angle to open up your Libby app and get to reading!

Freelancers

Whether you’re meeting a new client with a virtual meeting or working in a coffee shop, this is the way to go.

The Perfect Book Journaling Companion

My personal favorite mode is the horizontal “note-taking” mode, which for me, isn’t really about note taking at all. As someone who tracks their reading across various apps, I often have one app open in my phone and reference it to jot things down in my book journal or planner.

With this mode, I’m able to prop it up and have dual screens easily accessible, meaning I don’t have to shuffle around with too many tabs open on my iPad! You can see it in action in my most recent YouTube video, where I set up my new case, update my wallpapers, and add to my book tracker in Goodnotes!
